Our modern 50-room hotel features spacious, quiet, oversize rooms with new air conditioners and ventilator fans. All rooms have two new double beds. In addition, some rooms feature 3x4 foot venetian baths, (and, of course, all rooms have HOT water). |
Our rates are the LOWEST of any comparable hotel in the immediate vicinity. (We take pride in the fact that there are NO comparable hotels in this area).
Current Rates, beginning 1 June 2010:
Room with 2 large beds = $500.00 pesos (MN), for one or two adults. Each additional adult incurs an additional $50 peso fee.
We have a suite with 2 double beds and 2 single beds for 700.00 pesos. Children 12 and under are free.
If you prefer to use Visa or MasterCard, there is a fee of 90 pesos beyond the cost of the room, for each day.
Check-in time is anytime. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. If you need additional time, notify us prior to your departure day.
Piramide Inn is located at the edge of the Yucatán pueblo of Piste. Here you can walk the streets day or night without fear, as we have very little crime. Police are rarely needed. We do have one jail cell in the municipal building. The cell is rarely used, but it does sport a nice concrete floor for sleeping and a standard traditional cuisine of tortillas and water. (Needless to say this discourages lawbreakers).
Piramide Inn and Chichen Itza are just about as centrally located as one can get in Central America! Many types of transportation are available here, and all are dependable and hassle free!
BY AIR: The International Airports of Cancun and Merida are one flight away from most major U.S. and Central American cities. In addition, Chichen Itza has its own airport served daily by Aero Caribe, Aero Cozumel, Aero Maya and Aero Banana from Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Aero Cozumel and Aero Caribe operate charter tours to and from Cancun on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please check with these airlines well in advance as space fills fast and schedules are subject to change without notice!
BY CAR: Rental cars and taxis are also available at the airports. We are a one hour drive from Merida on Highway 180 and two from Cancun on the new Autopista (Highway 180 freeway).
BY BUS: The bus depot is right next door, just a few short steps from Piramide Inn's lobbby. Here, very inexpensive and dependable first and second class bus service is available to and from Cancun and Merida with convenient links to points throughout Mexico and Central America.
